The Vulcan really is huge. Manned by a crew of five, the Vulcan was enormous even among Cold War jet bombers, which tended to tip the scales in the heavyweight category. It 97ft (30m) long and has a wingspan around the same length. We fell asleep to waves breaking on the shoreline. 🙂 We were not there solely to rest and enjoy, we worked hard on our other goals we had on that trip. We DID get to enjoy much more, and traveled around that area almost every day.
